The Festival de Contes de la Vallée de Munster, now the Festival d'Automne du Mìnschtertàl, is one of Alsace's great storytelling festivals. In 2025, it celebrates 26 years of existence, crossing the quarter-century mark and affirming its durability.
Run entirely by a team of volunteers, the festival is present in many of the valley's villages, extending as far as Turckheim and Wintzenheim. Munster is its birthplace.
To mark its 25th anniversary, which we celebrated last year, the association published a collection of the finest unpublished texts from 5 years of writing competitions. Quickly sold out, the committee decided to reprint it so that it would be available again for this year's festival.
