Description:
Lake Fischboedlé is the smallest of the Vosges lakes. Its surface area is 0,5 ha.
It is located at an altitude of 794 metres above the Wormsa Valley. A scree slope flows into the lake, giving it an alpine character.
It was dammed at the beginning of the 19th century to support the low water flows of the Fecht but also for the pleasures of fishing.
A small gazebo set up by the Vosges Club of the Munster Valley welcomes hikers. The walking time to get there is 30 to 40 minutes from the chalets of La Wormsa (Metzeral). Access to the lake is prohibited to vehicles.
