Come and discover the folklore and traditions of Munster, on the occasion of the Transhumance festival which celebrates the return of the Vosges cows to the Valley.
Cheese making demonstration, mini-farm, dances and alpine horns will delight young and old, without forgetting the tasting of the tourte in the Salle des Fêtes and the parade of the Vosges beauties in the streets of Munster at 4 pm.
And throughout the day, a farmers' market will be offered on the market square, while many concerts, animations, games and exhibitions on the theme of the Transhumance will enliven the day.
The shopkeepers of Munster will also open their shops to you, to discover the know-how of the Valley.
Possibility to follow the herd on its entire descent to Munster. Departure at 10.30 am from Schiessroth Farm (possibility to have breakfast on site from 9 am: reservation on 03 89 77 63 63).
