Wood workshop Au bonheur des Ours

In the heart of the village of Hohrod, in her workshop on the main street, Doris gives a second life to trees by creating objects with the technique of turning and scribing on wood, from a local sawmill, orchards or the nearby forest.

Come and discover and see how a piece of wood is transformed into a unique and natural piece. Doris mainly turns in the morning, afternoons are reserved for scroll turning and wood preparation. Free woodturning demonstration in the mornings Monday to Friday from 9am to 12pm.

Doris's great speciality is to be able to offer unique pieces and to accompany you in the creation of decorative objects and/or repairs in wood (turned or scrolled) within the capacity of her machines.
