Our Chalet Erichson is closed, but you can always take shelter under the gazebo in case of rain (please leave this place clean for future hikers). It will be open from April 27 until the end of August 2025, except on Fridays, however it will remain open on Fridays May 2, May 9, May 30 and August 15. It will close for extension work from the beginning of September.

   It overlooks the beautiful Gaertlesrain mountain pasture in the commune of Soultzeren. There is a magnificent view of the entire Munster valley, the peaks of the Vosges, the Black Forest and even the Bernese Alps on a clear day. You will be welcomed by our volunteers, who will offer you drinks to accompany your packed lunch or a snack (bacon, cheese, sausages, pies). It does not include accommodation.

   On foot, it can be accessed from the Tanet - Lac Vert station or from Lac du Forlet (yellow disc markings) or from the Route des Crêtes and the GR5: Dreieck-Lac Vert car park (red disc markings): Allow 30 minutes' walk from the Tanet car park and 20 minutes from Dreieck - See the map opposite.
