Col de la Schlucht RETOUR

There is no shortage of lakes in the Hautes Vosges with their many charms and innumerable legends, nestling at the bottom of majestic glacial cirques. Lakes dammed up in the 19th century, notably for the needs of local textile factories. The Lac Blanc, the deepest lake in the Massif, the Lac Noir called nor mâ when Romanesque was still spoken in this area, the Lac des Truites, the highest lake, the Lac Vert, which is really green in summer due to the development of an aquatic plant on the surface. A lot of colour in the eyes, and an alpine-like walk in an idyllic setting.
