Discover large format photography with a 4x5" camera (10x12cm negatives)
. The morning is dedicated to shooting. After an overview of the camera and an introduction to the basic principles, you will start to take several shots according to the theme you have chosen.
You will work with the negative process and the camera. You will work with the paper negative process, where the film is replaced by photo paper, a fun and accessible technique that allows you to work under inactinic lighting (red light) and to take your first steps in the darkroom with your eyes wide open.
The second part of the day takes place in the laboratory, where the negatives exposed in the morning are developed. You will then obtain your final images by printing the positives using the contact print technique. Each image you create will have a double positive/negative. The diversity of the subjects and the sensitivity of each one will give rise to the most surprising results.
