Founded in 1988 and today an internationally renowned event, the Festival owes its long life to its historic artistic director Michel Hausser, a local-grown celebrity and famous vibes player.

As every year during the weekend of the Ascension, the valley will vibrate to the sound of brass Jazz Festival Munster! Find the Jazz in all its forms, represented by all the styles that embody the Swing to Blues ..., to Hard Bop and the Gospel! Several concerts will be offered throughout the weekend. Internationally renowned Jazz Festival Munster has had the opportunity to host the prestigious personalities such as Stéphane Grappelli, Guy Laffite, Georges Arvanitis, René Urtreger, Luigi Trussardi or Milt Jackson.
