Beer Tourism at Taal Brewery

Brewing tourism

Here in the Munster Valley, we brew like we breathe: with passion, with patience, and with a deep respect for the land. From village to village, beer tells another side of Alsace, more mountainous, more artisanal, more lively.

Behind each vat, there's a brewer who chooses their malts like a chef chooses their spices. The hops often come from nearby, the spring water from the valley, and the recipes are designed as a nod to the landscape.

When you step through the door of a brewery, you discover much more than a drink: local know-how, strong roots, and stories of encounters, experiments, and sharing.

Rain or shine, beer tourism has its place here in moderation of course, but always with enthusiasm.

Another way to explore the valley

What if we discovered a landscape through what we brew there?
Here, the paths don't just lead to the summits: they also guide you to the doors of a brewery, a converted old shed, a flower-filled terrace by a river. Between two bends, you sometimes smell warm malt, or fermentation in progress.

Beer becomes a pretext to the meeting, to the walk, to the well-deserved break after a climb.
There we find a brewer who talks about yeast like old friends, a brewer who infuses her beers with local plants, a couple who brew "four-handed" and over low heat. Each with their own method, their own grain, their own bubbles, all with passion.

In the Munster valley, brewing is part of the landscapeAnd taking the time to taste it is already starting to explore it differently.

FOCUS ON...

The Menschter Bier Party

Every year, the Munster Valley raises its glass during the Menschter Beer Party, a human-scale event that celebrates local breweries in a relaxed and festive atmosphere.A rock band on stage at the minschter bier party

In Hartmann Park, we taste, we exchange, we listen to live music, we share a pizza or a burger between two sips. It's a concentrate of what the valley does best : taste, connection, passion.

An unmissable event for anyone curious about craft beer and an excellent starting point for discovering the local brewing world, glass in hand and a smile on your face.
