The Fecht is the most preserved river in the departmentThe quality of its waters and the diversity of habitats it presents are entirely favorable to the sustainability of a multitude of plant and animal species, including the wild brown trout.
Present in large quantities on the courses of the Munster valley, it is ideally fished with a fly, but also with a float, or even with artificial lures. Two “No-kill” courses, reserved for fly fishing, will have some big surprises in store for you in Wihr-au-Val and Metzeral.
