Report a marking problem to the Vosges Club

TO REPORT A MARKING DEFECT

Despite all the care taken in marking out our trails, you may have noticed that a sign has been damaged or torn off, that the markings were not clear, or you have encountered a problem on our trails: fallen tree, rutted or poor condition trail...

Please let us know as precisely as possible:

  • Location (place name, photo... ideally a copy of the map with the location or GPS coordinates),
  • Direction,
  • Sign concerned (marker sign)

Why did we change the markings on some paths?

These changes are in response to the desire to make our markings as understandable as possible. Each of our hiking routes is marked by a single sign, which leads from its start to its final destination. When, at a fork, you find an X-shaped marker (an easel), this indicates the possibility of joining another route or another destination.

The latest edition of our IGN “Munster Valley” map is up to date with this marking.
