   Please note that since January 1, 2025 our hikes depart from the station Square in Muster, instead of the market square. Construction is underway near the market square, and you will find free parking spaces at the train station square.

   We now have an account Facebook entitled "Club Vosgien Vallée de Munster" (click here to view it).

   Personalized forestry work are underway on the yellow trestle trail that runs from the bottom of Eschbach to Obersolbeg, at the place called Hutschengut. Consult the map by clicking on the "Forestry work" button at the bottom of this page.

   Les corniches des névés se fissurent un peu plus tous les jours. Please be very careful and respect the restrictions: several trails remain closed until April 30th. For more information, click on the "Closed trails" below.

OUR ACTIVITIES

   2024 a été une année particulière avec une météo pluvieuse et une canicule en août qui ont parfois rebuté les randonneurs. Dans nos 470 km de sentiers, nos équipes de travail ont dû travailler d'arrache-pied pour dégager les arbres tombés lors des tempêtes et piocher dans les sentiers ravinés par les intempéries. Malgré cela près de 3000 randonneurs et marcheurs nordiques ont participé aux sorties encadrées par nos guides. L'ouverture des sentiers, la fête montagnarde, la fête de la marche nordique et la deuxième édition de la marche rose ont eu un beau succès. Les bénévoles du chalet Erichson ont servi plus de 9 000 randonneurs et une extension du chalet est prévue en fin d'année 2025.

At the request of our members, we have also planned SOFT WALKS rated at 1/5 difficulty to allow everyone to enjoy our magnificent landscapes, but you will find hikes for all levels from 1 to 5/5 and not only in the Munster Valley. Bring good shoes, water (or a thermos in cold weather), warm clothes and rain gear in case of bad weather... and a snack from your backpack for day hikes. Happy hiking!
